Bronwen a potter based in Glasgow who first found her passion for ceramics at 18 years old whilst taking part in a throwing course in West Yorkshire. From here she nurtured this love throughout the course of her degree in Sculpture at The Edinburgh College of Art. Her sculptural work frequently looks at the relationship between space, movement and stillness, sometimes featuring performative films in which her background in dance comes to the fore, using her body to explore these relationships. Her functional ware, whilst still focused on the flow of form, also takes influence from the traditional pottery that she studied during a research trip and artist residency in Kerala, India.
